    Dr. Zoe Leatherbarrow is the worst doctor I have ever encountered. I had to scream at her to get adequate pain medication for my son while she was performing a painful procedure. Only after I screamed at her did my son get adequate pain relief.My son is absolutely traumatized. She constantly talked down to me and mislead me because she told me there wasn't much option for pain relief, but I think she just didn't want to wait for it to kick in. She also refused to put on numbing cream, probably because it also would take awhile to work. For context, my son had a smashed fingernail without any broken bones. This injury did not have to be treated immediately so she could have taken the time to give adequate pain relief. I am never bringing my son to the Vancouver children's hospital emergency department again.

    Terrible bedside manner. She is patronizing, not at all empathetic, and obviously has forgotten how to talk to both parents and their children. I would not recommend this doctor.
