Dr. Yammine was open and honest about my thyroid nodule, treated me like family. She was very caring, yet honest about the possibility of cancer. During surgery, she removed my right thyroid lobe containg the nodule, the size of a grapefruit. After testing nerves behind the lobe, she had to stop the surgery and not remove the left lobe. The pathology report no signs of cancer in the nodule removed, so the right lobe was left in and no need for any thyroid supplement. She was as excited to share the good news as we were to receive it. Appointments with her were not out of the ordinary for wait times and I disagree with those who say they had to wait so long to see her. She knows her stuff and made me feel very comfortable no matter what the outcome may have been
