After graduation, her experience working in the Department of Ophthalmology at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City specifically involved the infant and pediatric population, contact lens services including keratoconus, pre/post strabismus surgery care, pre/post cataract co-management, and glaucoma co-management. Bachelors of Science Honours Biology, McMaster University Doctor of Optometry, State University of New York After completing a Bachelors of Science in Biology at McMaster University, Dr. Radhika Chawla, MD, Optometrist, Richmond graduated from the State University of New York College of Optometry. Dr. Chawla is Chair of the Children’s Vision Committee and serves on the Board of Directors for the Ontario Association of Optometrists. In addition, Dr. Radhika Chawla, MD, Optometrist, Richmond served as an examiner for the National Board of Examiners in the United States and also volunteers with the College of Optometrists of Ontario. Dr. Chawla volunteers with ORBIS, a non-profit humanitarian organization devoted to blindness prevention and treatment in developing countries.
