Family physicians treat a variety of conditions including diabetes and heart disease and your annual stress test and often checking yearly for arthritis. Family physicians are also a great resource for physiotherapy and both sleeping and hypothyroidism . If you are suffering from male incontinence then consulting your family physician for a referral to a urologist might be the solution

It used to be common for people to “save up” their questions and concerns for an annual checkup with a physician. Many patients today choose to visit a primary care physician when they’re sick or are at a higher risk for developing a disease. Similarly, many medical experts have moved away from the yearly physical exam, instead recommending periodic health evaluations as needed. If you have a chronic condition such as diabetes, heart disease or arthritis, you may need to see your physician more regularly.  Certaines formes de Trouvez des informations ou des preuves locales comme des médecins de famille locaux ou des médecins de famille à montréal et à québec

I saw Karine and she prescribed me to do hormone blood work. I asked her if there should be special time for it and she said no. So I did test right after my period and I had to do it right before. I did it in private clinic and paid $1098. So it was complete waste of money. I have to redo it. I am filing complain with health commissioner. She must go, she can't see patients. it is illegal what she is doing.

Staff is awful. Most appointments are scheduled with his nurse, Karine. I want to see Dr. Zarruk, not his nurse. Karine has no empathy. I am a patient with Dr. Zarruk for Type 2 Diabetes. Karine told me that if I would just stop eating sugar, I wouldn't have Diabetes. It is a little more complex than that. I found her to be completely insensitive and condescending. It is unfortunate that Dr. Zarruk has her as part of his team. He is highly knowledgeable and before this appointment he had made me feel like together we would figure things out for my health. I also asked Karine for my BMI, a referral and a prescription for glucose meter strips, which she refused to give me. So I left the without the referral, the prescription and I don't know my BMI. It has been a very long time since someone has made me feel like I was below them. It won't happen again as I will never step foot in that office again!
